If you've placed a softcover order and would like to upgrade to the Hardcover Edition, you can do this yourself directly from your dashboard — no need to contact support.
When can I upgrade?
The Upgrade to Hardcover option is available when all of the following apply:
Your order is paid.
Your current edition is Softcover.
Your book hasn't been sent to the printer yet.
Once printing has started, the option will no longer appear in the menu and an upgrade is no longer possible.
Steps:
Log in at toddles.ai and go to your dashboard.
Find the softcover book you want to upgrade.
Tap the ... (options) icon on the book card to open the book menu.
Select Upgrade to Hardcover.
Review the price difference shown — you'll see your current softcover price, the hardcover price, and the amount you'll be charged.
Click Pay & Upgrade — you'll be redirected to a secure checkout page.
Complete payment. Once confirmed, your order is automatically updated to the Hardcover Edition.
What do I pay?
You only pay the price difference between the Softcover and Hardcover editions — not the full hardcover price again.
What if my book goes to print while I'm paying?
In the very rare case that your book is sent to the printer in the brief window between you starting the upgrade payment and it being confirmed, your payment will be automatically refunded in full and you'll receive a notification. Your softcover order will proceed as normal.
Don't see the Upgrade to Hardcover option?
The most likely reasons are:
Your order isn't a Softcover Edition.
Your book has already been sent to the printer.
Your order hasn't been paid yet.
